The Mount Dora Christian Academy Bulldogs will square off against the Seminole Seminoles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
While Mount Dora Christian Academy's victory against Master's Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Mount Dora Christian Academy came out on top in a nail-biter against Master's Academy on Monday, sneaking past 3-1. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Trinty DeVries spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on four hits and racked up eight Ks. Those eight strikeouts gave her a new career-high.
On the hitting side, Mount Dora Christian Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Presley Miller, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Another was Lily Bryant, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Seminole). They blew past Lake Mary 19-1 on Friday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Seminoles as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Ava Matthews was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Matthews was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, Mary Long was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That home run was her first of the season. Ava Hertz was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.
Seminole kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 4.2 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 games they've averaged 10.2.
Mount Dora Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Seminole, their victory bumped their record up to 4-9.
