Meanwhile, Watsonville was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Monday as they fell 52-48 to Pacific Grove.
St. Francis has been struggling recently, as they've lost ten of their last 11 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-15 record this season. As for Watsonville, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-9.
