The South Sevier Rams will venture away from home to challenge the Kanab Cowboys at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. South Sevier's pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so Kanab's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
On Wednesday, South Sevier made easy work of Kearns and carried off a 17-1 win. Considering the Rams have won 12 matchups by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

South Sevier got a massive performance out of Peyton Ingram, who went 3-for-4 with two triples, three runs, and three RBI. Those two triples gave Ingram a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cannon Barney, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 4-for-5.
South Sevier always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .564. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Kearns only posted an OBP of .316.
South Sevier typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Kanab proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 9-4 victory over the Rams. The win was nothing new for the Cowboys as they're now sitting on three straight.
Walker Baird spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on four hits and racked up ten Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Kanon Virostko, who scored a run while going 1-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Kale Glover, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.
Kanab's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-6. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.3 runs over those games. As for South Sevier, their victory bumped their record up to 15-4.
South Sevier couldn't quite get it done against Kanab when the teams last played on Tuesday as they fell 9-4. Can the Rams avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
