Meanwhile, Gateway's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their tenth straight defeat. They suffered a rough 57-31 defeat at the hands of Aurora Central. Gateway has struggled against the Trojans recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Thornton has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. As for Gateway, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-13.
