Lyndhurst will challenge Glen Rock on the road at 6:00 PM on Friday. Lyndhurst are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the match prepared for a fight.
Last Friday, Lyndhurst put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season. They put a hurting on Elmwood Park to the tune of 42-6. Junior Piotr Partyla was the offensive standout of the match for Lyndhurst, as he rushed for 125 yards and 2 touchdowns. Partyla has now scored at least one touchdown in the past five games.
Meanwhile, it was all tied up at the half for Glen Rock and Lodi, but Glen Rock stepped up in the second half. Glen Rock walked away with a 21-7 victory over Lodi. The success made it back-to-back wins for Glen Rock.
Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 5-1. The Lyndhurst defense got after the quarterback against Elmwood Park to the tune of four sacks, so Glen Rock's offensive line better have put in some good practice this past week in preparation for the matchup.
