The Rosewood Eagles had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Hobbton on Tuesday and snuck past 43-40. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Rosewood has posted yet this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Rosewood to victory, but perhaps none more so than David Lamm, who scored six points along with six rebounds and three blocks. That's the first time this season that Lamm posted two or more blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Hunter Sasser, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
The victory got Rosewood back to even at 7-7. As for Hobbton, they bumped their record down to 1-11 with that loss, which was their third straight at home.
Rosewood will take on Union at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Union comes in still looking for their first win of the season. Hobbton won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Spring Creek at 7:30 p.m. on January 17th.
