Last Friday, Fort Dorchester came up short against West Ashley and fell 49-42. Fort Dorchester has struggled against West Ashley recently, as their matchup on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Fort Dorchester's defeat came about despite a quality game from Cazz Williams, who scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Wright, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Summerville stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They blew past Ashley Ridge, posting a 84-54 victory on the road. The win was nothing new for Summerville as they're now sitting on three straight.
Fort Dorchester has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-8 record this season. As for Summerville, their victory was their 13th straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-2.
