Madison Martin was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 3.1 RBI per game. Another player making a difference was Ilyana Franco, who scored four runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
Mesa Verde always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .629. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .606 or higher in four consecutive contests.

Mesa Verde pushed their record up to 4-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 23.7 runs over those games. As for Vacaville Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
Vacaville Christian's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Mesa Verde hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .396.
