Souhegan extended the longest winning streak in Division III this week by beating Pembroke, 40-13. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Sabers.
Milford was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after besting Nashua North. The Spartans came in at 21 in the state poll after placing at number 26 last week.
ConVal's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Cougars feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Riordan McCole has thrown for 185 yards this season, while Jeremy Doubleday has 10 catches for 113 yards. Chris Queen leads the league in rushing with 523 yards.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Souhegan and Milford. Mike Beliveau's team enters the game ranked 18th in the state, while the Spartans ranks 21st.
Milford and the Titans played the most hotly contested game in Division III this week, with Milford eventually emerging with a 24-21 victory.
