Noble & Greenough scored a shocking upset when it eliminated Milton Academy, 14-12. At the time, the Mustangs were ranked sixth in the state, while the Bulldogs were 36th.
The biggest upset of the week belonged to Noble & Greenough, who took down sixth ranked Milton Academy, 14-12.
Thayer Academy's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Jack Becker threw for 124 and 1 touchdown and Brendan Ford had 49 yards receiving. On the ground Matt Campos contributed 48 yards. Jordan Allen helped Thayer Academy's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 45 yards.
Ford was the best wideout in Independent School this week as the Tigers lost to St. Sebastian's School. Ford tallied 2 receptions for 49 yards. Allen helped Thayer Academy's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 45 yards.
Thayer Academy's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Tigers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Becker has thrown for 1,341 yards and 13 touchdowns this season, while Conor O'Brien has 26 catches for 415 yards. Becker also leads the league in rushing with 283 yards.
The Arrows extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Thayer Academy, 34-7. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
