Wenatchee had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 10-1 margin over the Sunnyside Grizzlies. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by six runs or more this season.

Lily Smith was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Wenatchee's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Sunnyside, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.

Wenatchee will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Eisenhower at 6:00 p.m. on the 15th. As for Sunnyside, they will head out on the road to face off against Davis at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pirates have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 22 runs per game on average), something the Grizzlies will no doubt try to take advantage of.
