Valley had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.5 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They walked away with a 55-48 win over the Bryce Valley Mustangs. The score was all tied up 27-27 at the break, but the Buffalos were the better team in the second half.

Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Zaren Roberts, who went 6 of 10 en route to 12 points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Luke Andrus, who posted ten points and five rebounds.

Valley's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-2. As for Bryce Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season.

Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 77-49 win against Whitehorse on the 10th. As for Bryce Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 91-60 defeat against Kanab on the 11th.
