Posen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 12-11 heartbreaker at the hands of the North Michigan Christian Academy Comets. On the bright side, the 11- run performance marked the Vikings' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Posen's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for North Michigan Christian Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-3.

Posen has already played their next contest (against Cedarville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for North Michigan Christian Academy, they will square off against Pellston at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
