Another player making a difference was Erik Furdui, who scored ten points along with six rebounds and five steals.
Meanwhile, Mount Juliet Christian Academy was the victim of a tough 64-39 defeat at the hands of the Cougars on Friday. While losing is never fun, Mount Juliet Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 305th, while the Cougars are ranked 57th).
Dayspring Academy's win bumped their record up to 7-18. As for Mount Juliet Christian Academy, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost ten of their last 11 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season.
