There's no place like home for the Tumwater Thunderbirds, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They took their matchup at home on Saturday with ease, bagging a 66-26 win over Rochester. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 45-12.
Clay Morgan continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 14 points along with seven assists and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Beckett Wall, who scored ten points along with two steals.
Tumwater is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a massive bump to their 12-7 record this season. As for Rochester, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tumwater will face off against Black Hills at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rochester, they will head out on the road to challenge WF West at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. WF West has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
