Basketball Recap: Western Brown Drops Highest Score of Season Against New Richmond

Western Brown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a hard 72-57 fall against the New Richmond Lions. One positive for the Broncos, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Anthony Wolf had a dynamite game for New Richmond, going 9 for 15 on his way to 25 points and seven rebounds. The dominant performance gave Wolf a new career-high in points. Cohen Manning was another key player, putting up 11 points along with five assists and three steals.

Western Brown's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 0-4. As for New Richmond, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Western Brown will take on Clinton-Massie in a holiday battle at at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for New Richmond, they will host Goshen at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
