Willey scored a full 32.1% of Green Valley's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Jaelen Lautenslager was another key contributor, scoring 2 points along with 5 steals.
Green Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Cimarron-Memorial, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Green Valley will take on Mater Academy East Las Vegas at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Cimarron-Memorial, they will be playing at home against Silverado at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Silverado is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.
