Central Massachusetts recap October 1, 2013
St. Peter-Marian was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after topping Shrewsbury. The Guardians came in at 22 in the state poll after placing at number 38 last week.
St. Peter-Marian made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 2,410 from 3,255. The advance stemmed from a 34-32 victory over the Colonials last week.
At the moment, the Guardians are in first, while Holy Name Central Catholic is in third.
The Naps led Central Massachusetts in scoring this week by notching 47 points on South.
