Connell came tearing into Tuesday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They beat the Kiona-Benton Bears by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 6-4. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-4 on Tuesday.

Connell's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Kiona-Benton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Connell will host Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Eagles are facing the Broncos at the right time seeing as the Broncos are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Kiona-Benton, they will face off against Royal at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
