This marks the sixth consecutive week a Top 5 team in the MaxPreps Top 25 national high school basketball rankings has been upset. Previous No. 5 Hamilton Heights Christian Academy (Chattanooga, Tenn.) dropped a 93-83 overtime loss to The Rock (Gainesville, Fla.) — a defeat that likely bursts the Hawks' GEICO Nationals bubble.
Unbeaten Eden Prairie (Minn.) is the biggest mover in the national rankings, ascending into the Top 10 this week after being unranked two weeks ago. The Eagles jumped 13 spots this week after a signature win over previous No. 6 Minnehaha Academy (Minneapolis).
DeMatha rises three spots to No. 6 this week after capturing the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference title with wins over St. John's (Washington, D.C.) and previous No. 22 Paul VI (Fairfax, Va.).
Postseason action this week that could shake up the national rankings includes the Georgia AAAAAAA state quarterfinals and semifinals, the Nevada 4A state semifinals and finals, the CIF Southern Section Open Division title game and the Texas UIL Class 5A and 6A state tournament.

Regular season complete. The Eagles are expected to be the top seed in GEICO Nationals.

Captured the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference title, defeating previous No. 22 Paul VI (Fairfax, Va.) 70-56 after splitting their previous two meetings with the Panthers.
Benefiting from another week of upsets, the Crew appear to be in strong position to receive a GEICO Nationals invite.
