The Manning Monarchs will head out on the road to challenge the Mullins Auctioneers at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Manning will be strutting in after a victory while Mullins will be coming in after a defeat.
Mullins will be up against a hot Manning squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. The Monarchs came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 9-8 W against Lee Central. That's two games straight that the Monarchs have won by just one run.

The team relied heavily on Lovell Stevenson, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Jacob Broadway also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Manning kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lee Central only managed six.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 11 runs the game before, Mullins was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They came up short against Lake City, falling 19-2. The Auctioneers haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.
Mullins saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kryshon Davis, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.
Mullins' loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Manning, their win bumped their record up to 4-8.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Manning has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.2 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Mullins struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.7 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Manning got the 'W' when the teams last played back in April of 2025 against Mullins by a conclusive 20-3 score. Do the Monarchs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Auctioneers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
