After having lost a blowout in their previous game against West, Trinity Christian was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They breezed by the Life Waxahachie Mustangs at home to the tune of 63-12. With the Trojans ahead 49-6 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Hunter Flatt had an outrageously good game as he threw for 375 yards and seven touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes. Zane Williams helped Flatt out on the ground, picking up 83 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 82 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.
Trinity Christian's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged two passes before it was all said and done. The picks came courtesy of Jude Tredennick and Ryan Elms. Another thorn in Life Waxahachie's side was Matthew Cortez, who forced a fumble and made nine total tackles (2.0 for loss).
Despite the loss, Life Waxahachie still got an impressive performance from James Hicks, who rushed for 139 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries. Hicks really tore up the turf during one magnificent 74-yard run.

As for Life Waxahachie, they will face off against Godley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Godley focused on turnovers this week as team gave up four on Friday.
