Brianna Ramirez was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Furthermore, she didn't allow a single earned run, the first time she has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played.
In other batting news, Daniela Ceja made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That triple was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Natalie Garcia, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
