While Jefferson might've come up empty on Tuesday, Hayden Vucinovich wasn't going down without a fight. Vucinovich wasn't messing around, striking out nine batters over 3.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off two hits. The pitching appearance was his third straight with two or fewer hits.

Coming up, Vucinovich and Jefferson are taking a road trip to face off against New Prague at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Vucinovich had to take a defeat the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their matchup back in May of 2024 3-0.
