The Raleigh Charter Phoenix's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their sixth straight loss. They fell 55-44 to Falls Lake. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Raleigh Charter of the 64-49 defeat they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2023.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Falls Lake to victory, but perhaps none more so than Camden Saunders, who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Perry Trice, who scored 12 points.
Raleigh Charter's loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-7. As for Falls Lake, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-13 record this season.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing NCSSM: Durham the next time they take the court. Falls Lake will host NCSSM: Durham at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Raleigh Charter will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
