Even though the Eastbrook Panthers scored an imposing 56 points on Tuesday, the Madison-Grant Argylls still came out on top. Madison-Grant enjoyed a cozy 71-56 win over Eastbrook. Madison-Grant didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this win makes it their second in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Madison-Grant to victory, but perhaps none more so than Clayton Hull, who scored 20 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Kelich, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds.
Madison-Grant's win bumped their record up to 5-11. As for Eastbrook, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Madison-Grant will take on Alexandria-Monroe at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Alexandria-Monroe is coming into the contest with three straight victories on the road, meaning Madison-Grant will have to defend against a squad hungry for a victory. As for Eastbrook, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Wes-Del at 7:30 p.m. on February 9th. Hopefully Wes-Del focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Tuesday.
