Basketball Recap: Make It Five in a Row for Hope Academy

Hope Academy put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They snuck past the Hill-Murray Pioneers with a 62-57 win. While Hope Academy didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-23), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Hope Academy pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.2 points per game. As for Hill-Murray, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hope Academy and Rush City will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hope Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Rush City likes a good challenge. As for Hill-Murray, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Anoka at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
