After having lost a blowout to Whitehaven in their previous contest, Cordova were happy to find some success on Friday. Cordova were the clear victor with a 34-7 margin. That result is just more of the same for them, who also won the last time these teams played.
The win bumped Cordova's record up to 3-1. The loss dropped Douglass back to even at 2-2.
Next week Cordova take on Collierville at 7:00 PM. Douglass will look to defend their home turf against Manassas at 7:00 PM.
