There's no place like home for the Barringer Blue Bears, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Thursday. They came out on top against American History by a score of 54-44 on Saturday. The win was just what Barringer needed coming off of a 51-23 defeat in their prior game.
American History's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Edgar De Los Santos, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds. Westterlin Dejesus was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Barringer now has a winning record of 2-1. As for American History, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-1.
