Algoma never let their opponents score on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Howards Grove Tigers with a sharp 10-0 win. Considering the Wolves have won four matches by more than eight runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory snapped Algoma's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-8 record. As for Howards Grove, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

Algoma and Howards Grove could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings. The Wolves (ranked 251st) will meet Oconto (ranked 118th) at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Howards Grove will square off against Cedar Grove-Belgium at 5:00 p.m. on Monday with a big rank disadvantage (353 vs. 13).
