Illini West's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Wesley Robertson, who scored six points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Haydon Rankin, who scored seven points along with five rebounds.
Augusta Southeastern has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Illini West, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.
Augusta Southeastern will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against Camp Point Central at 7:30 p.m. on January 3rd.
