The Spring Lions can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They secured a 49-43 W over Klein Forest. This was payback for Spring, who suffered a 73-64 loss the last time these two teams met.
Spring got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jaylan Tran out in front who scored 9 points. Tadarius Wade was another key contributor, scoring 5 points.
Spring has yet to lose a game at home this season, leaving them with a 8-6 record. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of three points across that stretch. As for Klein Forest, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-3.
Spring will head out on the road to face off against Cypress Park at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Klein Forest, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Foster at 7:00 p.m. Foster will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1013th, while Klein Forest is ranked 172nd).
