The biggest upset of the week belonged to Paso Robles, who took down 168th ranked Atascadero, 16-14.
The Bearcats moved up to 220 from 247 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Pac-7. Paso Robles was able to make move up by topping the Greyhounds 16-14.
Arroyo Grande's dynamic duo of Matt Willkomm and Brennan Rivera proved tough for San Luis Obispo to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Willkomm threw for 195 yards and two touchdowns and Rivera had 62 yards receiving. Grant Alton helped Arroyo Grande's passing attack out by catching one ball for 60 yards.
Ryan Lombardi made the biggest impact on defense this week as Atascadero fell to Rich Schimke's team. The 5-foot-10 junior recorded one fumble.
Jonathan Torres was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 94 yards on 16 carries as Vic Cooper's team beat the Tigers. Teammate Izaiah Cooks added to the ground attack by rushing for 61 yards.
Righetti's Troy Prober and Luke Wilson have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Prober has thrown for 1830 yards this season, while Wilson, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has 63 catches for 1002 yards. The Bearcats' Colton Madrigal leads the league in rushing yards with 1278.
Arroyo Grande extended the longest winning streak in Pac-7 this week by beating San Luis Obispo, 28-24. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
