Von Steuben has gone 8-2 against Northside recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Panthers will host the Mustangs at 4:30 p.m. The last three games Von Steuben has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
Von Steuben came out on top against Jones on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run third inning. The Panthers narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Eagles 7-5.

Matteo Banuelos was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Von Steuben is undefeated when Banuelos posts two or more runs, but 11-13-3 otherwise.
Meanwhile, Northside entered their tilt with Lindblom on Monday with eight consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with nine. They were the clear victors by a 13-4 margin over the Eagles. Considering the Mustangs have won 15 games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Rowan Yen made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Yen was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with four stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Elliot Weihing and Liam Schorr did most of the damage at the plate: Weihing went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI, while Schorr went 2-for-4 with three RBI. That's the most runs Weihing has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Rowan Dragovic, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.
Northside kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in five consecutive matches.
Von Steuben is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-13-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for Northside, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-9.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Von Steuben has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Northside struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.9 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Everything went Von Steuben's way against Northside in their previous matchup back in April, as Von Steuben made off with a 10-0 win. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mustangs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
