Houston entered their tilt with Southwind on Friday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They breezed past the Southwind Jaguars to the tune of 52-25. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Houston's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mckenzie Percoski, who went 7-for-15 on her way to 18 points and six steals. That's the most steals Percoski has posted since back in January of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Caidyn Sanders, who went 7-for-12 to rack up 16 points and six assists.

Houston's victory bumped their record up to 20-9. As for Southwind, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-18.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Houston will take on Southwind at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southwind, they will challenge Cordova at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Southwind is facing Cordova at the right time seeing as Cordova is stuck on a 12-game losing streak.
