Logan/Palco lost against the Thunder Ridge Longhorns back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Logan/Palco took a 45-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of Thunder Ridge.
Despite the defeat, Logan/Palco saw an underclassman step up: Lylah Voss almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds.
Thunder Ridge got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kamryn Rietzke out in front who scored 19 points. Another player making a difference was Jenna Barnes, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Logan/Palco's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Thunder Ridge, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.
Logan/Palco is on the road again on Friday and plays Weskan at 4:00 p.m. on February 9th. Logan/Palco is facing Weskan at the right time seeing as Weskan is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Thunder Ridge, they will be playing at home against Sylvan-Lucas at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sylvan-Lucas will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Thunder Ridge surely won't give up without a fight.
