The biggest upset of the week belonged to Luverne, who took down 185th ranked Elba, 26-21.
Zion Chapel moved up to 297 from 325 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 2A Region 3. The Rebels climbed the ranks as a result of beating New Brockton 27-7.
The Tigers' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Austin Johnson threw for 51 yards and Cobe Goosby had 33 yards receiving. On the ground Johnson chipped in 123 yards. Reid Rials helped Elba's passing attack out by catching two balls for 18 yards.
Elba's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Tigers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Johnson has thrown for 695 yards and seven touchdowns this season, while Goosby has 18 catches for 300 yards. Darrean Burks leads the league in rushing with 391 yards.
Goshen took down Central 42-14 last week, the largest margin of any game.
