Nelson Made His Presence Known in Leeds' 49-24 Victory
Starting off the list is Leeds's Conner Nelson, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Nelson rushed for 161 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 8.9 yards per carry.
Leeds pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. Nelson and Leeds will challenge Pelham at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Sadly, Keywone Posey posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Center Point over Leeds on Friday. Posey rushed for 98 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries, and also threw for 99 yards and a touchdown. His longest rush was for an impressive 61 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Center Point is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4. Posey and Center Point will square off against Springville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Landyn Smith Delivers Electric Effort Vs Lincoln
Landyn Smith continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his fifth-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least three passing touchdowns. He threw for 237 yards and five touchdowns.
The win got St. Clair County back to even at 4-4. Smith and St. Clair County will venture away from home to take on Jacksonville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
