The Middle Township Panthers stacked a 12th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They blew past St. Joseph 70-35 at home. The win was familiar territory for Middle Township who now have eight in a row.
Middle Township got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Bubba McNeil out in front who scored 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamir McNeil, who scored six points along with eight assists and five steals.
Middle Township pushed their record up to 19-2 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for St. Joseph, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-12.
Middle Township will head out on the road to face off against the Fighting Irish at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Camden Catholic will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New Jersey Rankings (they are ranked 53rd, while the Panthers are ranked tenth). As for St. Joseph, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against the Raiders at 5:30 p.m.
