Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bourgade Catholic). They wrapped up 2024 with a 64-50 win over the San Dieguito Academy Mustangs. The victory was some much needed relief for the Golden Eagles as it spelled an end to their 11-game losing streak.

Bourgade Catholic's win bumped their record up to 4-11. As for San Dieguito Academy, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bourgade Catholic will challenge Gilbert Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 8th. As for San Dieguito Academy, they will welcome Mt. Carmel at 7:00 p.m. on January 7th. Mt. Carmel is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.5 points per game this season.
