Phillipsburg was led to victory by Andrew Martin and Matthew Scerbo jr.. Martin scored 17 points along with five rebounds, while Scerbo jr. scored 25 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Scerbo jr. is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 17 or more in the last four games he's played. Ameer Herran was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with 11 rebounds.
Phillipsburg's win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-1. As for Bound Brook, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-9.
Phillipsburg will face off against Vernon at 11:00 p.m. on Saturday. Phillipsburg has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 255 points over their last four contests. As for Bound Brook, they and The Pingry School will face off on February 10th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The Pingry School will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Bound Brook surely won't give up without a fight.
