The Kiski School Cougars were the 60-49 winner over the Life Center Academy Warriors when they last played one another back in December of 2015, but their luck changed this time around. Kiski School took a 83-71 hit to the loss column at the hands of Life Center Academy on Friday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Life Center Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Isaac Moore led the charge by dropping a double-double on 20 points and 10 rebounds. Elijah Brown was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with 5 assists and 3 blocks.
Kiski School's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Life Center Academy, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kiski School will square off against Armstrong at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Life Center Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Mastery at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
