With a playoff game on the line, the Midfield Patriots rose to the challenge on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Hawks 66-34 at home. Winning may never get old, but Midfield sure is getting used to it with their ninth in a row.
Midfield found their leader in underclassman Jazmin Johnson, who scored 28 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. Johnson also posted two blocks for the first time this season. Another player making a difference was Zephaniah Parks, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and five steals.
Midfield is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 16-9 record this season. As for Danville, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 13-17.
Midfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Danville also has no future games currently scheduled.
