The Melba Mustangs's road trip will continue as they head out to face The Ambrose School Archers at 7:30 p.m. on January 24th. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Melba posted their biggest victory yet this season on Monday. They blew past North Star, posting a 72-35 victory on the road. The victory was just what Melba needed coming off of a 73-52 loss in their prior contest.
Meanwhile, The Ambrose School can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent match on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 71-41 victory over Compass Charter on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win The Ambrose School has posted against Compass Charter since December 15, 2020.
Melba is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for The Ambrose School, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-3.
Melba came up short against The Ambrose School in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 62-50. Can Melba avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
