Sunset entered their tilt with Southridge on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They never let the Skyhawks get on the board and left with a 9-0 win. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 14-2 win on Wednesday.

Sunset's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Southridge, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sunset will venture away from home to take on Jesuit at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Crusaders' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Apollos' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Southridge, they will head out to face off against Aloha at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Skyhawks surely won't give up without a fight.
