Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lowndes Academy). Everything went their way against Coosa Valley Academy on Monday as Lowndes Academy made off with a 19-5 win. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Lowndes Academy got a massive performance out of Presley Hamilton, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs. Catie Wallace was another key player, scoring four runs while going 2-for-3.

Lowndes Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .613. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The win made it two in a row for Lowndes Academy and bumps their season record up to 3-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Coosa Valley Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.
