Kennedy may have come out ahead in their last contest, but they shouldn't get too cocky given who is up next. On Friday they take on Valley at 7:30 PM. Kennedy are the clear underdogs, so they're hoping it's the size of the fight that determines this one.
Kennedy took their match against Linn-Mar last week by a conclusive 33-7 score.
Meanwhile, Valley faced Dowling Catholic in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Valley walked away with a 20-6.
Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 2-0. We'll see which team can carry over they success and which team inevitably falls when Kennedy and Valley clash.
