Nova never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They walked away with a 5-0 win over the Piper Bengals. For the Titans, this counts as revenge for the 5-3 victory the Bengals walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2021.

Not much got past Dylan Petersen, who gave up just three hits to keep Piper off the board.

At the plate, Nova saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ayden Paredes, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. James Williams was another, scoring two runs and stealing two bases.

Nova's win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Piper, they dropped their record down to 10-8-1 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Nova will challenge St. Thomas Aquinas at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Raiders' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Titans' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Piper, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Brito at 4:00 p.m.
