The Rancho Rams scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They blew past Moapa Valley 105-46 on the road. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 59-24.
Jakoi Lide was his usual excellent self, scoring 41 points along with five steals. Those 41 points set a new season-high mark for him. Jordan Childress was another key contributor, scoring 21 points along with six steals.
Rancho's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 81.0 points per game. As for Moapa Valley, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost eight of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12-1 record this season.
Rancho will be playing in front of their home fans against Palo Verde at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Palo Verde is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Moapa Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Somerset Sky Pointe at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
