After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sunnydale Academy, the Midland Adventist Academy Mustangs were happy to have found some success on Monday. They walked away with a 60-49 win over Training Center Christian. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Midland Adventist Academy also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Several Training Center Christian players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Creed Lopez, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. Lopez is crushing the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Bryce Bryan, who scored ten points along with seven steals.
Midland Adventist Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Training Center Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.

As for Training Center Christian, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Ozanam at 12:00 p.m. on February 6th. Training Center Christian is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 55.8 points per game this season.
